Hello World
Last updated on August 10, 2026
My reason for writing is a simple one: sometimes it is a plain record of something I have just learned, sometimes it is a thought stirred up by the small stuff of everyday life.
Back in elementary and junior high school I more or less kept a diary, and time felt like it passed very slowly. High school and university, where I hardly wrote anything down, have left me with only a few hazy moments. A few days ago I sat down to write my resume: two days of head-scratching later I had barely scraped together half a page, typing away and wondering all the while why someone who feels busy every single day comes across on paper as a slacker. In the end I gritted my teeth — “fine, I’ll fill the rest with coursework” — and just about made it to one full page.
I have had the idea of starting a blog several times before, and each time it fizzled out; no idea how it will go this round. The plan is to keep a record of my own path through computer graphics, writing the notes in Markdown locally and posting them once enough of them have piled up.
Here’s to us both.
